  • "The Red Barn" Las Vegas, NV - 2021

  • The Red Barn was one of Las Vegas’ first gay bars. This gorgeous sign features a lovely martini marquee from the antique store that opened on Tropicana Avenue in the late 1950s. It was later converted into a bar and renamed the "Red Barn" in the early 1960s. By the late '70s the Red Barn had become one of Las Vegas’ first gay bars, home of the RB Follies show and headquarters to one of the earliest gay magazines published in Southern Nevada, the RB Rag. It closed in 1988 and today this iconic sign still shines brightly at the "Boneyard" Neon Museum located in North Las Vegas, NV.
